Goodbye UK
Bye Bye baby...
Hello dear readers, today I would like to talk about UK and if you’re wondering whether this is another boring article about London, you can rest assured! I'm talking about Brexit.
Many people think that it's not over until the fat lady sings, but all good things must come to an end and so it was the day when I reached Weymouth beach early in the morning and felt that the shore was enshrining all the grandeur of nature.
Pulled by a mysterious force, I ended up writing on the sand: DON'T BREXIT! The writing simply got sucked into the waves. How would you call it? Personally, I'd define it an omen.
As a European citizen I don’t really want the exit of UK from the Eurpoean Union because Great Britain is so attractive that I wish a miracle could happen. And it's not because I'm a foreigner looking for a job abroad, but because it would be a shame giving up to all the beautiful panoramas enclosed in its remotest lands. I know, the island won't be off limits, but in my heart it's as if it was.
You may be now wondering… How can you say that their coasts are so attractive? Maybe because of their flair, a little retro, maybe because of the crashing waves, or maybe because the sea has an inviting blue icy colour.
I only know that when I saw these places for the first time I fell in love with them. Chapeau.
You know that I love art and sculptures in particular, I was particularily pleased to find an old and forgotten path full of weird statues of rabbits, dogs, and other abstract subjects. I thought I should have photographed them.
This piece of land is an island connected to the main land by a narrow beach. The weather was wonderful and we could immortalize the moment.
All of a sudden, while walking around the island, we eventually saw the long-awaited white cliffs. I had longed for them for so long in my life that I had started to think that they were a pipe dream! But no, they were there, still far away from me, but living and exisitng and calling me up. In my imagination they represented my mermaids, and I was their Ulysses and was about to see them in person and hear them singing.
But before going I still had to give a glance to my favourite material, the stone. Be it carved by the wind or by the water, or again by an artisan or an artist, I find it enchanting and graceful.
I was shocked at the sight of their splendid white colour, perfectly matching with the sea.
The more we kept on walking, the more I'd never stop. At every footstep we made friendship with one new curvy shape and they were more and more beautiful.
It was almost the dawn and we had to get back to our car, but I know I'd miss them forever.
Slowly and calmly we reached Dover. The Seven Sisters were waiting for us. They were enormous and powerful sometimes threatening, they were gorgeous, they were my first love. They were the reason why I was there. Cuckmere Haven.
I think I've gor thousands photos of this part of England but my phone wasn't up the task, they were too beautiful for it.
Passed the Coastguard cottages the view became spectacular and a joy to my eyes.

The nicest thing about this place is that if you have the time to walk down the coast and spend a few hours there, you'll notice how fast the landscape changes and the way back can't exactly be the same due to new passages formed by the water.
There are many spots where you can go, this is the most famous one and it's worth a visit.
